Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Soapmaker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Percival is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Percival lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. He's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
