History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. One day when Dean was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Dean was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
