History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Body Guard.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has wavy blonde hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Hubert is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is long and white with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Conrad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
