History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Bernard was born with his mother's beautiful face. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.
