History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Adelard was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Spy. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is greedy
