History: He comes from a rich northern family. After coming to the age of reason, Aldous took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and expand his business

History: He was born into a rich family. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.
