Personality: Gilbert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
