He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he has a crush on the local detective

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Robert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
