His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Adelard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
