Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bookbinder profession.

History: He was born in a small island village. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder father left him crippled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

His hair is long and brown with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: Richard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
