History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Tim was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ploughman. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and further expansion of business
