Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor, and is pretty ugly. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the left. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Guard. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Heward was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He wears a yellow armored body suit, with a simple white line shooting up and back down. He carries with him a set of warhammers, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anthony fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
