History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Everard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Being a Crown-heir kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Spy. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
