Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing a long, grey cloak, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are brown and beady.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. A true patriot, Charles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Charles was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
