History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Weaver. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance.
