History: The child of a Sculptor, who enjoyed hunting, Roland was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He takes great joy in being the best Map Maker in town.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Map Maker. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Warlock school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mercenary. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To be a Sage again; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.
