Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Arnold was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Aldous is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to unite with his brother

History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
