History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This younger middle-aged man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. A true patriot, Roland would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Robert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
