History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Cory was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he seems to be bored by most things

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
