History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.
