He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Randal took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Ernest Lindsay, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears skinny pants and wears a brown and blue robe with the hood down. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Interpreter business.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and expand his business
Ideals: Optimist, Persistence. Bonds: Immigrant, Mentor, Job. Occupation: Interpreter
