History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Raymond was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Raymond's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for him, and Everard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Everard has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears baggy brown pantaloons and a grey scarf. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Peter will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Peter was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a laborer and was forced into it by his family
