He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Percival was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
