History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Simon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Simon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Simon and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
