History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter
