History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His hair is white and very short. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Roofer.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a gardener again

Description: He prefers to wear flannel. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Miles was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Kody was born with his mother's beautiful face. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and human compassion

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
