History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Bernard was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He got into the Healer business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Healer responsibilities is difficult; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Patrick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing his hectic life and new beggar responsibilities is difficult
