History: Norman hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
