History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kyle was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
