During his travels, Aldous and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Aldous discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Aldous fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
