Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears an entirely red suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: This malnourished man wears silk and lounges about seductively. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: He was born in the north. Adam abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He wears baggy black pantaloons and a red scarf, and he perpetually has his whip ready. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To unite with his brother.
