History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born into a rich family. His first spouse was a Mason, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
