History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Heward enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heward was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gerard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born in the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
