History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Charles was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
