Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Heward was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and an old rival family wants him found
