History: Born to a Armorer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Hubert was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
