He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Patrick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Clerebold is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
