History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. John liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Balimaar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a Hunter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
