Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longsword, but if one is not available he will default to his trident. He has no hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by drow. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his spear, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. His hair is blonde and curly. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Unemployed, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a great chef.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to pay off his debts

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He takes great joy in being the best Unemployed in town.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has worked as a Unemployed like his father before him.
