History: Godfrey hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Roger learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
