Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His hair is long and white with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Aldous enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult
