History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, John never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
