He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is greedy

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by his family; and wants to work out more often
