History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Frederick liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Trym has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Conrad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Performer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Dustin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
