Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Hubert was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Solomon was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Solomon's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
