History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by drow. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
