Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shoemaker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Robert and his spouse have recently divorced.
