Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 25. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To protect his home; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
