History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Gomory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gomory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
