History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Kody abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Carpenter. He became a Carpenter soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and he is greedy

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and to settle down with his crush
